Not to be confused with our most recent Magical Journey. This one takes place at the mall. It is not of the “on Ice” variety.

This week at the Macy’s at Natick Mall in Natick Massachusetts they are kicking off summer Brasilian style – inspired by the fashion, food and flavor of Brasil!

A few events to mention

Thursday May 17, 2012

6:00PM Enjoy a magnificent Samba performance by Moves and Vibes Dance Co and an exciting demonstration by Jiu Jitsu experts from Capoeira Brasil Boston. Also enjoy tropical beats provided by the DJ and a sampling of traditional Brasilian cuisine.

Saturday May 19, 2012

12:00PM Kids on Level 2 Carnival fun in the Kids Department where they can test their skills in an interactive soccer challenge and enjoy balloon twisting, face painting, and more! Also enjoy a swimsuit fashion show featuring Summers most wanted swimwear trends and with any swimwear purchase, customers can make their own kanga sarong!

2:00PM Swim on Main Floor Macy’s shows off the hottest looks on the beach with a Brazil inspired Swimwear fashion show. Enjoy informal modeling of the newest looks and while you’re there, create your very own Brazil inspired “Kanga” sarong with any swim purchase.

Level 2 Men’s The big boys will be given the opportunity to show off their soccer skills on the Virtual Soccer Challenge.

Macy’s has curated approximately a hundred disticntive products from Basil that will be on sale at “O Mercado” A taste of Brasil to bring home. Macy’s will also have The Nature Conservancy on hand to talk to cutomers about preserving the rainforest in Brasil.

With all this rolled up into one it looks like Viva la Brasil at Macy’s. Enjoy! I may see you there tomorrow :-)
