Tim Ferriss – I want my boobs back.

I have been using the The 4-Hour Body way of eating for 8 weeks now and my body fat has gone down to an amazing 14.5%.  My husband and I have lost over 30 lbs and many inches. The fat loss is staggering really. I have also been using the workout recommendations from the book. I enjoy it so much that I expound on its benefits to anyone that will listen and have inspired others to take up this new way of eating.  Even wrote a little ditty for newbies to help them out.

I have expanded my horizons food wise. I have never eaten and loved so many beans in my life (yummy Taco Salad I’m looking at you). I have new recipes that I will continue to use after this experiment is finished. Love the new food I’ve discovered.

I have started running. I am amazed how much easier and enjoyable running is when I don’t have 20 extra pounds to bring along with me.

I have more energy to keep up with my kids. Three kids under five require quite a bit of it!

So all in all, I’m stoked about the whole thing. But last night I got kinda pissed at Tim Ferris and his stupid #4hb.

Nowhere in the book did it mention one particular side effect and I am wondering why. WHY? Before bed I was checking out my new look in the mirror. Maybe it’s my own fault, I have been focused on my backside quite a bit. With the whole perfect posterior exercises how could I not be? And it does look good! But how could I have missed this? It’s right there in front of me!

It is clear Tim has an affinity for women, the way we look and, um, pleasing us. How could he not tell us!

So there I am standing in front of the mirror wondering why he didn’t mention with all that fat loss that some of it might come from my BREASTS! My boobs are a shell of their former selves Tim Ferris, and I blame you.

So I don’t want my money back Tim, I just want my boobs back. Buyer beware.

And no, you pervs, I am not posting any other pictures.

    Hallo Sharon,
I came across your posts trying to see what was said about the 4 body workout because i am a bit disappointed with my results. It seems to work for everyone that has done the program. I haven´t lost and inch. I´ve been doing this consistently for 6 weeks and I am quite frustrated. I had two relapses in which I ate out of the diet but have really been good at it because one does not really feel hungry and the cravings are gone. Still, I must be doing something wrong. I stopped eating cheese altogether, I am not exercising due to a shoulder injury but as he says in his book exercise is not mandatory, I felt it would be ok to wait for a while until I healed. I normally do Pilates and spinning and I haven´t done anything at all since February 20th. Could this be the problem? With your experience, could you point out what is it that I am doing wrong? I would appreciate any comment as I don´t want to throw the towel. It seems like something I would like to continue doing but lack of results are very hard to stomach. Thank you and take care.

    • Did you throw in the towel yet? Sorry I missed this comment somehow. I do know that I didn’t see any huge results until 5-6 weeks. How is it going now??

  2. This is great!

  3. I love you. And you little boobs too!

  4. You got a really useful blog. I have been here reading for about an hour. I am a newbie and your success is very much an inspiration for me.
My blog is Low fat diet.

  5. I think it should be noted that any time you loose weight, women, much of it will be from the breast. No matter what diet or exercise.

Can I ask if you also stopped breastfeeding while on the diet? I found your blog through a google search trying to figure out how the 4HB diet would impact my milk supply. I’m still nursing my 13 month old but might be quitting around 14 months and then starting the diet… or I might just continue to breastfeed. It’s up in the air. Anyways, just curious if the cessation in nursing could have impacted your, um, results… Thanks for sharing your experiences!

    • Yes Kristin I did! I’m not sure which had a greater impact on my…results.
My BFF who had a lovely bust not too many years ago, now calls herself pancake boobs. That was from nursing two kids :-(

  7. I’m late to the 4Hr Party, but how do you feel about it now, looking back? Did the weight come back? thank you in advance for the follow up and also for the awesome posts about it, which have me wanting to start! ~beth

You may have just inspired me to do a follow up post!

I did gain back some of the weight. I’m still at a healthy wieght for me, but my supersecret goal weight is 8 pounds away again. I love bread. I can’t help it.

  8. Hahaha! This cracks me up. I’m assuming that you’re joking though, yes? Pretty much any fitness model out there has implants. Boobs are fat, so if you’re cutting weight, you should be expecting those to wither as well. If you wants boobs, you can’t really have a tight rear. It’s the sad truth. Wouldn’t it be cool if we could spot train?!

My husband once pointed out that boobs stick out about as far as your tummy. So I started looking around and noticing, and he’s right!! So I would say six pack abs would equate to a lovely set of pancake breasts.
